Mother's Day is a time to honor and celebrate the important role that mothers play in our lives. At Latinas Run, we know that motherhood is a journey that requires strength, resilience, and love. That's why we want to take a moment to celebrate all the incredible Latina mothers who run, jog, walk, and move their bodies in ways that bring them joy and strength.
As a community, we are proud to support and uplift Latina mothers who run. We know that running can be a powerful way to take care of ourselves, connect with others, and challenge ourselves to grow. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just starting out, we see you and we celebrate you.
And speaking of celebration, we recently had the pleasure of partnering with World Nutrition and Nike for a special event that highlighted a Latino-owned family business in Chicago. Eliuth and Omar Guzman, the owners of World Nutrition, shared their story with us, and we had the opportunity to learn about their journey and their vision for the future.
After the talk, we headed out for a walk/run with pacers available for both groups. We were thrilled to have Nike on board, offering a shoe demo and a sweet surprise to our participants. It was a wonderful evening of connection, inspiration, and community, and we want to thank World Nutrition and Nike for supporting our mission to showcase Latina lead/owned businesses in Chicago.
We are proud to be a community that celebrates and supports Latina mothers. Whether you run for fitness, for fun, or for the challenge of it, we know that running can be a powerful way to connect with your own strength and resilience.
So to all the mothers who run, jog, walk, and move in their own unique ways, we wish you a very happy Mother's Day. Keep shining, keep striving, and keep running!
